Status of Women

There is an extreme manifestation of unequal social relations between men and women within the family and the economy. The state fails to transform the existing social relations based on dependence, oppression and exploitation. Socio economic arrangements of sex / gender based disparity are reflected in lower wages for women, their under reporting in the labour force and the disadvantaged position of women in health and education. The constitution of Pakistan declared the equality of sex as a guiding principle. As such family should be basically an egalitarian unit founded on equal rights of the individuals who form a family. The subordination of women to men pervades family life in all classes and castes in Pakistan.
WOMEN IN PAKISTAN SOCIETY
A study on the status of women in Pakistan and Indian history is a difficult task for several reasons. The idea of better status for Paki women has been slowly evolving, through social and religious reforms and change. It had several ups and downs. In fact, the real emancipation of women began with education, occupational mobility, diversification of their roles, changes in child marriage, widow remarriage, sati and the like. Woman is the companion of man gifted with equal mental capacities. She has the right to participate in the minutest details of activities of man and she has the same rights of freedom and liberty. Indian women have diverse multi-dimensional characteristics. They have progressive as well retrogressive, roles and values among several religious and caste groups all over Pak. Most of them are housewives. The urban women are better placed and have benefited from the existing opportunities for development at a faster rate than the rural. In the field of science and technology they now play a great role. They have many hurdles to overcome yet.

(3) WORTH WAITING
From darkness awakened a newborn child
A boy with an unknown cause
Unlike the others his imagination runs wild
And his mind never seems to pause
Knowing he’s different he looks all around
In search of a similar friend
There is nobody like him, no one to be found
But he vows that he’ll search to the end
As he grows older, he learns what life is about
Locking up thoughts for tomorrow
With his feelings so tangled he just wants to shout
Yet he waits for that someone to show
No one seems like they would understand
This brilliance isn’t for everyone
He lets the years pass til’ he can hold out his hand
To a girl he believes is the one
He knows it’s hard to find someone like him
He begins to think it’s too late
Just when the chances begin to look slim
She walks in as if it were fate
She’s just like an angel sent from above
Perfection reflects in his eyes
He’s finally been given someone to love
To him there is no greater prize
Having never holding the courage before
He does his best to tell her
He digs deep in his heart right to the core
To say a few words yet he’s unsure
With a pain in his chest he does his best to express
She’s so much to him; not to scare her
But she’s overwhelmed and too young to say yes
For a while now he’ll have to suffer
He’s sad that she’s lost by the words which he brings
If only she felt the same way
He doesn’t know how to say the right things
He prays she’ll embrace him some day
At least now he’s glad that he hadn’t ran
He dreams of them being together
Promising himself he’d do all he can

A true heart see through the dark,
living sunshine, which way to go…tell me,

but what keeps our mind on todays sunshine goes bye all time,
somehow and keep coming our way……
That sorrow inside, weakens a broken heart,
walking there is like a mid-night dreams,
love more than other gifts, that earth can offer to declining man,
brings hope with it, and forward-looking thoughts…..

what is it to feel and think for passions,

you know those shallow beaches in Mexico?
I’m going to swim with the friendly dolphins there
just me and the twinkling stars becoming one
maybe across the oceans
there would be a beautiful lady waving to me
a woman with the beauty of an angel
would i swim across the seas
for love?
perhaps the angels
would lend me their wings
for a little while
i could hitch a ride
on a gigantic blue whale
love will take me there someway…
the bubbling waters are magical
i feel as though I’m one with the sea
the sea lions that float
deep into the underwater layers
smell of green seaweed
that delights my soul
but i know….
there is even greater beauty waiting for me

For the past month or so I”ve been caught in a dilemma.

Well,If u see i agree.I had a chance to live in kelowna,British Columbia,Canada,Over there womens population is more then men everywhere u go u see women.Most of the jobs women have but the city is not growing unemployment rate is number 1 in Canada.Well what i think of women of India and Pakistan The gov have to create some special programs and and low cost courses specially for women and Kinda special seats in foreign companies that have to go to women that way the economy is more productive. Its getting better in India.The women working in call centers.They go out and drink alcohol,party till the am have sex socially.Play games with different guys.Independent right….
